As a viewer this needs to be made a law because some players are opting out of the end of their college season to get ready for pros. If they got paid in college then they would be more eager to play.
If I was a college athlete I would want to be paid so that I can help my family. A lot of athletes are playing solely to make money. This way if they have a career ending injury before they are done with college, then they can still make some money.
This way students can get a full education, and money.
