United for Women

As we all know women are a crucial part of the society and limiting them is a limitation to the society. We are writing this letter to express our dissatisfaction towards the mistreatment to Iranian women,as they face crucial problems in the Iranian society.

Women are forced to wear special covers,the blood money for women is half of the blood money for men,and the same ratio exists in inheritance as a girl inherits half of what her brother inherits. Women are not allowed to take part in some jobs like being a judge,president or being a member of Expert Assembly (an organization that observes the performance and chooses the leader).

Women are not allowed to get divorce in the court and the divorce right is with men and in the case that the men are not legitimate to live with,the court will have to decide about the future of her life. We really need a revised law that leads to a better life quality for women in Iran.

همانطور که میدانید زنان بخش ضروری جامعه هستند و محدود ساختن آنان به منزله ی محدود ساختن جامعه است. هدف ما از این نامه ابراز نارضایتی از بدرفتاریهای جاری نسبت به زنان ایرانست.زنان ایرانی مجبور به استفاده از حجاب اجباری هستند. دیه و سهم الارث آنان نصف دیه و سهم الارث مردانست.برای حضور آنان در مشاغلی چون قضاوت موانع سختی مواجه هستند در حالی که حق حضور در پستهایی چون ریاست جمهوری و یا مجلس خبرگان(ارگان ناظر بر عملکرد رهبری و مسئول انتخاب رهبری)از آنان سلب شده است. حق طلاق از زنان ایرانی گرفته شده است و حتی اگر همسر یک زن دارای صلاحیت برای ادامه ی زندگی نباشد،تصمیم برای جدایی از این شخص برعهده ی دادگاه است. ما به قانونی بازنگری شده برای رسیدن به زندگی بهتر زنان ایرانی نیاز داریم
