Hello! I've set up this petition to give the Town Hall of Trim a voice - as a building the Town Hall has no way of getting fixed up unless we as a community become it's voice and demand that after years of neglect and disregard for the social and artistic needs of the people of Trim, that Meath Council do their civic duty and repair and restore the Town Hall to the community of Trim. I'm doing this as a Trim local, a tax payer and a 20 year member of Trim Drama Group.
We've been ignored and given the run around by the Council, owners of the Town Hall, long enough. Let's get together as a community and give the Town Hall back it's sparkle. If you're part of a community group, please join us in petitioning Meath County Council to do their civic duty and repair the Town Hall for the people if Trim. Petition to Meath County Council to restore and repair Trim Town Hall to make it fit for purpose and once again available to the people of Trim for use as a Centre for Community Groups to serve as a Centre for the Local Community Performing Arts groups and other Community Groups and to provide a Tourist Office befitting the commercial tourist opportunities for the Heritage Town of Trim.
