Trasacco - stop fencing

We, citizens of Ghana at Solomon City at Adjei Kojo under the Tema West constituency are very unhappy with the recent development in the said area.

We purchased these lands from the chiefs and elders at a cost and of which building,construction by most people are almost half way through only to be informed a week ago that ownership of the land belongs to Transacco.

Without any warning or further discussion, Transacco has begun fencing the whole community which indirectly means structures within the fence wall will be broken down. We the citizens are not happy since we have about five hundred people staying there excluding children who are under 18yrs as well as teenagers in this vicinity.

We are therefore appealing to all those concern, the ministers, the Member of Parliament for our constituency, minister for gender, children and women affairs to come to our aid as the land is being taken away from us even though full payment of these lands have been made to the chiefs.

As per the sale of goods contract, we have proof that these lands were sold to us and therefore appeal to you to help us in this delicate situation.
