The loyal fans, sponsors, players, well respected former players and commentators, all agree on one thing. The current standard of refereeing in the NRL is not at an acceptable standard. The video ref system is flawed and needs an overhaul.
Teams are being denied fair decisions, its costing them games not only mid season, but perhaps chances to make finals, it has cost a team a grand final before and it will again...
The end result is disenfranchised supporters, reduced game attendance, sponsors etc etc.. Its time to make a change
We, the undersigned, have witnessed for far too long the continuance of the abysmal refereeing decisions that are affecting the outcome of games week after week.
We implore you to listen to your fan base, your clubs sponsors, your clubs players and begin an investigation by the newly formed ARL commission to review the current umpiring system and do what is needed to make the system work.
