THE future of Farnborough Town Football Club is in doubt after new chairman Tony Theo was told at the weekend he would be ousted.
Theo believed former chairman and manager Vic Searle would pass his shares and subsequent ownership to him by the start of the season but Searle has sold his controlling interest on to two businessmen instead.
Theo believes he has a legally binding agreement with Searle.
If the transfer is declared valid it would leave the club in crisis, with two unwanted owners who have no interest in the club, and a major exodus of staff and players just a week before the start of the season.
To let Higgans and Tuberville know they are not wanted and to keep Tony Theo in charge.
