The Bluffton Dog Park

We the Local Residents and Tourist of Bluffton South Carolina want to have a Dog Park/Area at The Bluffton Community Park.

A Dog Park is a great way for dogs and people to get together and be social. Our surrouding area is very dog friendly to Residental Apartment/ Condo rental, Local business/Resturants/Taverns, they all welcome dogs. Hilton Head Island, Tybee Island and Huntington Island have all been written up on, in Magazines andTravel Guides as being some of the most friendly to places for a Vacation with your pet.

Also many of the Hotels and Rental Condos have been included in the write up as "Dog Friendly Place to Stay. Some of the places mentioned in write up are Palmetto Bluff, The Weatin, The Omni, The Marriott Hotels and Properties, The Holiday in Chains, and MANY others.

We in Bluffton would like a place to take our dogs to play and learn proper social behaviour. Dogs of our community attend Parades, Fundraisers and Holiday Gatherings together, so having a dog park for owners and dogs to get to know each other just makes sense. If they are going to be attending a lot of the same Social Events together.

So in closing the below listed people are in agreement with me in wanting a Dog Park in Bluffton for not only the Fun and Social aspect but also to make Events and Social Gatherings save for people and dogs of the Community and Visiting Tourist.
