Climate change is perhaps the most considerable environment challenge of our time.it poses a great challenge to sustainable progress daily.it affects economic systems, water resources, food, health, coastal zones,industrial activities and human growth.
Addressing these effects provides opportunities for innovation and business.if we are to cut down the many impacts of climate change variability, the necessary mitigation, adaptation and coping up strategies must be implemented.
By 2030 as predicted, kenya will need US $1_2 billion per year to address climste change effects unless effective mitigation and adaptation systems are immediately instituted. The combined effects of climate change impacts will hinder realization of targeted goals in vision 2030 if we move this slow.
While the (NCCRS ) was finalised, there is need to push for implementation and formulation of a national policy on climate change .
Kenya is already feeling the effects of climate change.The widespread poverty, recurrent droughts, floods, inequitable land distribution, drying water bodies and many other effects are visible.its important to note that many of our people have few resources, poor housing and depend on natural resources for their living.
Floods and droughts have caused damage to property and loss of lives, reduced business opportunities and increased the cost of transacting bussiness.
We therefore call on judi wakhungu to move faster and address climate change from the roots..

Dear judi wakhungu,
As a concerned citizen i know your commitment towards conservation ,matters water and environment in general. However enough is not enough we ask that you fasten your belt and look closely at what the country is going through.
Droughts, floods, deaths and many other impacts of climate change.
I therefore ask you to help intervene in controlling illegal logging countrywide, control extreme quarrying, start sensitization on these matters and why it's important that we protect they... the people of kenya led by your ministry should protect their natural resources, introduce carbon taxes that will make polluting activities more expensive, and ensure the polluter pay regulation is observed, pardon a day that towns and cities will be cleaned up unblocking drainages, look into rivers that are now drying up, come up with a way of cleaning rivers e.g Nairobi river... it's clear that many of our people aren't educated in climate change.
You have been talking about it but your enough is not your best. Bring aboard your juniors and address this monster once and for all.
