Teaching Differences in Political Parties in School

Target: Robert Duvall
Region: United States of America
Background (Preamble):
When young people reach the age to vote, they often register and vote one way or the other, just because their parents or peers told them how to register and how to vote. I believe that views of the different political parties should be taught in school, so that when these kids reach the age to vote they will be more knowledgeable and will know why they are voting one way or the other.
They should learn not to necessarily go along with their race, ethnic group, religion, etc, but register and vote their conscious, truly understanding the potential consequences of their "vote".

Petition:
Do you believe young people should be taught the differences in the different political parties in public school, before they reach the age to register to vote? If yes, please sign.
