'Taking the Lead' is a project that will offer free neutering, micro-chipping and free dog discs to all dogs from local authority housed families within the NCC (Norwich City Council) area. The increased number of stray dogs is providing a huge problem, particularly with Bull Terrier breeds and their crosses.

Across the country thousands of young Staffies and Staffy crosses are being destroyed. Every 80 minutes an unwanted/homeless dog is put to sleep. If NCC and FAITH work together we can begin to control the situation in the Norwich area and hopefully "lead the way" for similar campaigns across the country.

Unfortunately after encouraging beginnings way back in June 2008 and a draft leaflet being drawn up in 2009, all communication with Norwich City Council came to a grinding halt. With phone calls and emails no longer being returned. For further information please visit our news section at www.faithanimalrescue.co.uk/whatsnew.

Help us get Norwich City Council back on board for a successful campaign.

We the undersigned are disappointed at Norwich City Council's administration failings that served to halt the 'Taking the Lead' campaign.

We ask that NCC (Norwich City Council) urgently resume work with F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue and give this campaign the support it deserves!
