With the current status of the Sycamore Township Trustees to lay off 14 Full Time Firefighter Paramedics, and completely disband the part-time program this petition is being established to not only sustain the jobs of all current personnel but to sustain the high level of Fire and EMS services to the residents of Sycamore Township.
To sustain all personnel within the Sycamore Township Fire Department this petition is to establish a levy for the resident voters to keep their services at the highest level possible.
The proposed levy would be a 6.6 Million operating levy to span 5 years. This levy would cost current residents approximately $143.00 annually per $100,000 in property value.
