Swindon needs Sci Fi

Petition Background (Preamble):
Swindon is about to lose something special that's in its grasp unless action is taken.
It is home to a one off collection that has come about thanks to an avid collector of all things Sci Fi, Luke Skywalker.
After just completing a successful exhibition at the STEAM museum in Swindon and generating much excitement and anticipation Luke Skywalkers amazing collection of Sci Fi movie costumes and memorabilia may have to be disbanded.
He had hoped to create a permanent exhibition in Swindon, possibly in one of the vacant retail outlets. It would generate a buzz in Swindon's town centre, something that it desperately needs, and ultimately greater foot fall and positive PR. So far Luke has been unsuccessful in engaging Swindon Borough Council to get support to facilitate this, so we need your help to demonstrate how strongly we feel this will be great for Swindon.

We, the undersigned, agree that Swindon would really benefit from the creation of a permanent Sci Fi exhibition, and urge the Swindon Borough Council or a local inward investor to help facilitate this.
