Tim Kramer was wrongfully terminated by The Chicago Marriott Downtown. They claim he did not return money to the establishment. When confronted he asked to see the video recording of the incident captured by the in-house security camera. The camera was not functioning at the time.
WE have worked very closely with Mr. Kramer. He is a exemplary associate and a man of great character. The accusation is completely unmerited and unsupported.
We the undersigned, as concerned associates and customers of the Chicago Marriott Downtown, believe Tim Kramer was treated unjustly by being terminated by The Chicago Downtown Marriott July of 2008, having devoted thousands of hours of exemplary service to the lobby bar and entire hotel.
The aforementioned action occurred without a single warning or reprimand and without a single customer complaint. A formal investigation was not properly conducted by the Downtown Marriott resulting in wrongful and incomprehensible termination.
We believe this decision should be reversed, allowing Mr. Kramer to return to work and to continue his outstanding service to our establishment.
