DASH is a local Transitional Housing Program in Washington D.C. that serves families who have survived abusive situations. The families that participate in our program have experienced very traumatic and distressing life events that brought them to receive our services.
Because of this history that they bring with them, DASH makes every effort to ensure that they have everything that they need in order to start their lives over. Due to the fact that they have escaped emotionally and physically abusive situations, DASH wants to give the children in the families that we serve a chance to relieve some of their acquired and undesired stress by offering them an opportunity to play freely and safely in an environment that they call home.
