This is a friendly request to show support for the Emerald Coast Fitness Foundation, Inc. and it's mission.
The Emerald Coast Fitness Foundation, Inc. is an IRS approved 501c3 public charity created solely to fill a void in Okaloosa County when our YMCA's unfortunately had to declare bankruptcy. Vision makers, Pam and Bruce Braseth and Kathi and Gary Heapy came together and formed this charity. ECFF mission is to develop physical fitness and water safety among all youth and adults of Okaloosa County. They will provide facilities and programs that will deliver opportunities for instruction, training, health rehabilitation and therapy and competitive excellence primarily in the sports of swimming, running and cycling. ECFF wants to provide a fun, safe, and healthy recreation for all Okaloosa County citizens. Please visit the Emerald Coast Fitness Foundation website and follow them on Facebook.

We, the undersigned citizens of Okaloosa County, submit this statement of support for the Emerald Coast Fitness Foundation's proposal to operate and manage the former Destin and/or Fort Walton Beach YMCA facilities as an aquatic facility for the benefit of aquatic athletes, swimming lessons, lifeguard and lifesaving training, fitness activities, health rehabilitation and therapy, and fun, and healthy recreation for all citizens of Okaloosa County.
