Support the COD Club

COD stands for Commitment, Optimism, and Determination. The COD club is to be a non-profit organization directed by youths of distinguished leadership abilities.

Our mission is to ensure that children of our community hold an equal opportunity to both experience and promote happiness and optimism through what they do best. To accomplish this purpose, we are arranging a year-round program for children in K-6th grade. To assure a preeminent experience, this will include various activities such as educational tutoring, sports (such as basketball, football, tennis…etc.), dancing (from ballet to hip-hop and break dancing), and various arts. Through dedication, we hope to provide a profound atmosphere for all.

To fundraise and advocate this project, we also plan to arrange a show, consisting of various performances. This will most likely be held during the summer of 2010. Please come and support us.

This is an ambitious project to enhance our community and help set a precedent for future generations to come. Furthermore, the delivery of this project will not only provide Malden with an expanding educational environment, but also the opportunity to develop and promote leadership within young people, positioning our youths to open the doors to success.

If this project does go ahead, it will need to gain planning permission and funding. There will also be further detailed consultation before submitting any planning application. And if this project should go ahead, it could be delivered as early as September 2010.
