We residents, citizens, and qualified voters of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, by our signature below, demonstrate our support for the project commonly known as the “Amp," a 7.1 Bus Rapid Transit project that will run from the St. Thomas Hospital area on West End Ave to Five Points in East Nashville.
We hereby request that Mayor Karl Dean, Metro Council Members, Governor Bill Haslam, the Tennessee General Assembly, the Federal Transit Administration, U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander, U.S. Senator Bob Corker, Representative Jim Cooper, and all other members of the Tennessee Congressional delegation support the initial Amp route, all other subsequent routes and all available and appropriate funding mechanisms to get the initial AMP route completed.
