"Hakone" is a heritage listed building in Wyong, built by Mr Albert Hamlyn Warner in 1912-13.
The building is now known as "Strathavon", and it provides accommodation for members of the community, travellers and people employed for temporary and long term assignments.
We, the undersigned, support the use of Strathavon (also known as "Hakone", "Strathavon Country Club" and "Warners Lodge") as a function centre, Guest House, Boarding House and for caravan and mobile home accommodation.
The continuation of these uses will provide income that will help to ensure the longevity of the heritage buildings and the urgent maintenance to preserve the Heritage Listed "Hakone" building which was built in 1912-13.
