The local community should embrace the new local council housing proposal for the fields behind main street, Ballantrae and the needs of families and young people in the village and surrounding community and the positive effect it would have on local business, leisure and schools.
We the undersigned call on South Ayrshire Council to build new and safe housing in Ballantrae catering for the need of family housing or those with medical conditions requiring an extra bedroom in the first instance of allocations for those who live in the area.
We call for proper semi detached/terraced housing as opposed to 4 in a block type flatted housing.
