The Lidl proposal comprises the demolition of the existing store and the construction of a new two storey building.
The new building will accommodate a Lidl food store at first floor with a sales area of 1,424 m² and 92 car parking spaces located underneath the store. The existing store has a sales area of 1000 m² and 55 car parking spaces, so the proposals will provide a vastly improved shopping experience for our customers.
The building will be positioned on the same footprint as the existing store but will extend further towards Massinger Street.
We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl's application for the proposed redevelopment of the existing Lidl food store on 96-120 Old Kent Road, London.
