Lidl have acquired the former SG Smith Car Dealership at 409-411 Beulah Hill, Norwood, SE19 3HD. In due course we will be submitting a planning application for a discount foodstore (1,011m² sales area), with six residential units at first floor level and 41 associated car parking spaces.
The site is currently vacant and our proposal will not only regenerate this underused brownfield site, but also drastically improve the visual amenity of the existing unattractive site.
The development would bring greater shopping choice to local residents and create up to 40 new local employment opportunities.
We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl's application for the provision of a neighbourhood foodstore at the former SG Smith Car Dealership site, 409-411 Beulah Hill, Norwood, SE19 3HD.
