Child rights include fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution of India and also the rights of children adopted in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on 20th November, 1989.
A public register is a right and a national duty that is long overdue.
Petition: Child Rights
To Live: Every Child has a right to be born, survive and live, have access to good health facilities and nutrition, to a name and nationality.
To Protection: Protection from abuse and neglect, preference during war and emergencies.
To Development: All Children without discrimination have the right to education, development opportunities during childhood, health protection, social security, free time, recreation and cultural activities.
To Participation: Right to be respected for one.
We, the undersigned, call on the Indian authority to take immediate action to protect children's/students rights as per the Indian law.
A 10th standard student has been tortured by two teachers in Chakkalakkal High School, Madavoor, Kozhikode district of Kerala state.
The parents of victim is already reported this to The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KeSCPCR).
The mentioned teachers has done this purposely with out any valid reason. Now the said student is not able to concentrate anything including his final year SSLC exam as he is week mentally and physically.
This type of abuse should be stopped at any cost and the teachers shall be punished with out any consideration. The management of school is supporting to the teachers to protect their names. Hence, we all requesting you to consider these issue as soon as possible and give appropriate punishment to the manager of school, head mistress and the two teachers.
