Petition text:
Please sign our petition supporting Crystal Dixon, Associate Vice President of Human Resources at the University of Toledo (Ohio), and calling for her immediate reinstatement to University staff.
In addition to signing this petition, please contact the University to express your support for Crystal and free speech:
President Dr. Lloyd A. Jacobs
University Hall
Room 3500

In early May, 2008, the University suspended Crystal, an African American female administrator, for stating in a local newspaper guest column that choosing homosexual behavior is not the same as being black or handicapped. The column was harshly anti-religious and anti-Christian.
To quote Matthew Parris, a gay London Times columnist who opposes anti-free speech laws to protect gays: "Once the law starts limiting free speech in matters of honest opinion, where does it stop?"
