Support Coach BOZZI

Please sign the petition to bring Coach Bozzi back on as head coach for the CRHS Blue Devils for the 2015/2016 school year.

Coach Bozzi began his history with the blue devils back in 2006 when Vinal Tech and Coginchaug joined together to play football. Then in 2010 Coach Bozzi was named head coach of Coginchaug's newly formed team, the Blue Devils. Coach Bozzi took the V/C team those first four years to a State Playoff team status not once but TWICE. He then came to our school to shape our children and teach them teamwork, trust, leadership and drive.

Yes, he may come off a little blunt at times but you won't find a more devoted coach than John. Did you all know that Coach Bozzi donates a portion if not all of his pay he gets from coaching our kids BACK to our kids? He participates in activities with the boys other than practices….. Just recently Antonio Lockwood, organized a team viewing of a new football film in order to build team leadership and togetherness and Coach Bozzi attended. He has helped our team become a strong opponent in our class. Just last year we beat Cromwell in our Thanksgiving game. The team is currently Number 12 in our class which is a great achievement for a young team.

While I am sure all of us can look back and have an instance when either something we said was twisted or something was blown out of proportion….we need to take all of Coach Bozzi's strengths and weigh them against his weaknesses, and I am sure you will see that we need to keep Coach Bozzi on as head coach!

He really cares about our kids and always stands behind them, we as a team want to stand behind him now.
