We the undersigned want the educational rights of children to be upheld. We believe some rights have been violated. According to the United Nations Humans Rights Convention on the rights of the child (UNCRC www.ohchr.org ) article 3, 23, 28, and 29 are breached by the Government of British Columbia for not adequately funding our education system.
The education system of British Columbia is lacking a healthy amount of money to fulfil students' potential. Districts are forced to cut programs due to lack of funding and it can put students' health at risk.
