Students at Grandview High School and other schools in Cherry Creek School District have limited student freedom for freshmen and sophomore students leaving campus. Numerous students leave campus daily and students still are forbidden from doing this.
I as a student currently attending Grandview High School believe that it is in the best interest for the student body to be able to leave campus. I would like to see this happen because I have a numerous amount of friends that will be able to drive during the remainder of freshmen year and sophomore year, but not only am I concerned, numerous students are concerned as well.
We the sophomore and freshmen class at Grandview High School would like to request the administrative staff to review the reasoning and signatures of our fellow students in requesting the changes to the rules allowing freshmen and sophomore students to leave campus.
