The MMORPG Runescape, created by Jagex Ltd. has become the worlds largest Online Multiplayer game, just behing World of Warcraft.
To play Runescape, all you need to do is sign up a username, a password, and create your character. Your profile becomes a "Free Player" and start the game a tutorial island. As you progress through the game, you become stronger and the "free game" does not have the ability to amuse you anymore. So you switch to the "Member Game". The member game costs 5$ USD a month.
I am protesting the game because of what these people are wasting their money on. They spend 60$ USD a year on this game and most don't just quit. If 1 person plays the game for 10 years, they spend 600$ on the game. That's alot. But wait theres more...
The way to earn money is of course the use skills acquired during the game and sell your goods to other players. Of course, you dont make alot from that. So many players use "Gold Farmers". They can spend more than 200$ to get 20million in online game money. ONLINE GAME MONEY. THE ONLINE MONEY HAS NO VALUE AT ALL. ITS LIKE PAYING A COMPANY 200 DOLLARS FOR NOTHING. Of course, the players then spend that money and buy more online game money. These poor people can spend over 1000$ USD a year on a virtual world!!!
WE need signatures and videos to use against these companies to stop this "SCAM".
Please post videos on youtube.com under the title "runescape spending petition" and write any random number after that.
