Since moving here in February I have been towed twice for not having a parking pass displayed in my window. I drive a convertible car and in order to not lose my pass i place it in my glove box, at times forgetting to place it back on my windshield. This small mistake has cost my household over $400 in just these past two months and I think there's a need for a policy change.
A warning system should be in place to protect those of use who are actual residents of Pacific Shores, or a master list of permanent vehicles permitted to park here should be carried by the "courtesy patrol" so as to double check the vehicles that are towed. It could contain simply the make/model/license plate/phone number of every resident who has a car registered to park here.
We deserve peace of mind when parking our cars here, and we as residents deserve leniency in the case of simple human error. The "courtesy patrol" isn't expected much as it is and I feel that this responsibility is little to ask in the well being of my house and yours.
We the undersigned call to Pacific Shores and Management to enforce a more carefully designed plan for parking enforcement so as to protect the true residents of our community from unfair towing.
