We want the rezoning of 1038 Finch Drive stopped as it would be a precedent setting rezoning that would eliminate an original, rural Squamish neighbourhood that is not available anywhere else.
This unique area is not only enjoyed by it's residents, but also by many other community members who frequent the area to board/ride horses, to board their dogs, to ride their bikes, etc.
1038 Finch Drive is surrounded by all 2 acre properties that have only one house and one small family - the proposal is for 8 lots that allow for a 3200sq foot home plus a carriage house on each lot - increasing the density on the lot from one family to up to 16 families!
We, the undersigned, call on the District to stop the Re-zoning of 1038 Finch Drive into 8 lots.
