The relocation of The Thomas Alleyne School to Great Ashby.

Deadline for all objections is 10th December 2009

This school will bring 1600 pupils to the area and as a result traffic congestion, noise, and disruption will increase.

The access road that has been proposed will affect the adjacent properties, they will now over look a road / car park, which will be for the car and coaches to set down and pick up, this will cause noise and spoil the out look, as this road is the only entrance / exit planned for the school this will all cause congestion throughout the estate as it will be unable to cope with the amount of traffic this school will bring.

The land that the school is to be built on is Green Belt land, the school will occupy this site along with a floodlit all weather pitch, floodlit multi-use games area to name a few, which will also bring problems, with noise, lights etc. from these being used out of school hours.

We, the undersigned, call on Hertfordshire County Council to reconsider or withdraw their plans to relocate The Thomas Alleyne School to Great Ashby.
