I was horrified when I received an email from Facebook informing me they knew I had changed phone providers and had disconnected my nominated # from my Facebook account.

If you changed your mobile number or switched mobile service providers, please visit Facebook to add your number again.

We the undersigned call upon the telecommunications ombudsmen to stop the practise where 3rd parties such as Facebook are informed if I decide to change phone service providers.
