We, the undersigned, do not support the Detroit River International Crossing (“DRIC”) study or new bridge. Collectively, we have concerns that fall into the following categories:
* incomplete mitigation for environmental impacts;
* health and safety concerns;
* the impact on the Delray and Windsor neighborhoods and residents;
* the amount of public financing and tax dollars this will require, in today’s bad economy;
* the amount of tax dollars already collectively spent or appropriated;
* traffic counts show a reduced need for an additional crossing;
* MDOT should spend the money on other, more urgent, transportation needs within the state of Michigan;
* regardless of our mixed feelings towards the Ambassador Bridge, they have offered to build a privately funded twin span at no cost to taxpayers.

We, the undersigned, do not support the Detroit River International Crossing (“DRIC”) study or new bridge.
We respectfully ask the Michigan legislature and the appropriate Federal, State, and local governments and agencies to immediately suspend financing for the study, land acquisition, engineering, design, and consulting for the DRIC.
