1500 job cuts to be made by tata steel, despite huge billions of profits in the EU & conglomerates too.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the government, like E. Heath's government did via a rapid Enabling Act with Upper Clyde Shipbuilders & Rolls Royce, to nationalise Tata steel, if it cuts a single further job.
We recognise there would be no Tata steel in UK if Labour governments hadn't twice nationalised it to save it from private sector bankruptcy, asset stripping, etc
