Over the last few years we have seen more and more split classes in core subjects.
This year we had many small option classes, Art, Sports Medicine, Psychology, Agriculture, but every core class that we had was split: Pure Math 10 split with Pure Math 20; Science 10 split with Forensics; English 10-1 split with English 10-2; Physics 20 split with Physics 30; Pure Math 30 split with Math 31; Chemistry 20 split with Chemistry 30 and so on.
We, the undersigned, call on Chinooksedge School Division, in partnership with River Glen School in Red Deer, to take action and stop timetabling split classes in core subject areas.
