Dogwood Run & Lakes of Dogwood Run Subdivisions are considered to be nice neighborhoods. Most all of the homes in both subdivisions have children.
The front subdivision ( Dogwood Run) has NO sidewalks at all, forcing the kids to play in the street. There has been 3 confirmed children that have been hit by cars. The street we live on ( Lakes Edge Dr) just had a child hit last week by a truck who had been speeding up and down the road. The child spent 2 days in ICU with a skull fracture and a brain bleed. The cars in the neighborhood speed through as if they are at a race and we live on a dead end.
Please help us get the speeding under control so that this doesn't happen again.
We, the undersigned, call on the City of Shepherdsville Ky to put speed bumps in Lakes of Dogwood & Dogwood Run Subdivisions to help control speeding.
