Broughton Astley is a busy village and Coventry Road is one of the main road into the enter. However In recent months the number of speeding vehicles has significantly increased and there have been several near misses.
The junction of Blenheim Crescent and Coventry Road is a crossing point for children walking to Orchard Primary School.
Despite the number of parked cars and the danger to pedestrians speeding motorists ignore the 30mph limit and are putting people’s lives at risk.
We believe that time is of the essence, as the risk of that fatality increases daily
We, the undersigned, demand that speed reduction measures be implemented on Coventry Road as soon as possible before there is a serious injury or fatality.
