On June 21, 2013 ABC Network aired an episode of What Would You Do. In the episode 3 African American teenagers were cast in a scenario in which they were to "dine and dash." A Caucasian patron overheard their discussion and stepped in to stop the youth.

The issue is that he used covert racism to stop the teens, telling them "Remember where you are." The patron used the word "colored" to describe the youth. ABC made no move to edit the offensive language.
