The City ordinance prohibiting parking on the street during Public Service Days in their neighborhoods. City ordinance requires that all parked vehicles must be removed from the street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on your neighborhood's scheduled Public Service Days.
Failure to comply can result in vehicle owners receiving a citation costing $35 to $70. Vehicles will also be subject to towing at the owner's expense. It is imposible to move all vehicles from street. Hard working citizens are left troubled because they don't have alternative parking.
In tough economical times many citizens are ticketed and the city is using public service day to generate money.
We, the undersigned, call on to the City of Dearborn to eliminate Public service day.
