At the beginning of the current academic year the University of Essex outsourced the clamping of vehicles at the Colchester campus to a private company

To the Vice-Chancellor,
We, the undersigned, believe that:
• the University should not renew its contract with the private clamping company or any other private company;
• the University should not decide on issues concerning monitoring the car parks without open consultation with staff and students.
