Stop Partitioning Jerusalem Now!

We, the citizens of Canada listed below, wish to express our grave concern about the discussions in Israeli politics leading to the possibility of dividing, sharing, or partitioning any parts of Jerusalem to the Palestinian Authority.

We are adamant that such a course of action would be disastrous for the Holy City, the State of Israel, and the whole Mediterranean Region.

We also believe, from the results of recent polling, that such a course of action is not what the Arabs living in Jerusalem want.

We, therefore, urge you and your Government to strongly oppose such a course of action, and to do this, not only in Canada, but in Israel -through our Ambassador there- as well as through our Ambassador to the United Nations.

We are grateful for your strong and public support for the State of Israel, and urge you to remain steadfast in your position.
