Petition:
I, the undersigned taxpayer of New Jersey, do hereby reject Governor Jon Corzine's current budget proposal, which includes more than $1.5 billion in tax increases on cigarettes, beer, wine, water, cars, salons, and nearly everything else we buy.
The best solution to our state's budget shortage is to control spending and waste...not raise taxes on the backs of the hardworking citizens of New Jersey.
