Everyday many Americans face the reality of when will they have their next meal.
Some of those that are affected by this are the poor that don't have a enough money to buy food for their families, and the homeless that have the money to buy their food, but nowhere left to go.
Causes of this could be from natural disasters that destroy their home, or are forced from their homes, because they where injured at work in can't pa the bills. Also according to https://localwiki.org/bloomington-normal/Help_for_the_Homeless
14% of all single adult homeless population suffer from so sort of mental illness that makes it so they can't get a job. Also hunger affects people that make minimum wage which means they make enough money to not have food stamps, but not enough to be able to afford their own food.
At http://illinoisissues.uis.edu/archives/2014/03/hungry.html the website states that one out of six Americans face hunger, and there are about 15% of Illinoisans that live with food insecurity. Children in Illinois are worse off, with one in five not having enough food to eat. Also about 2 million people in Illinois go to bed hunger.
About 700,000 of those hungry are children, they live in every county of Illinois- urban, suburban, rural, wealthy and poor. In 2012 about six percent of Illinoisans, or 768,000, lived in extreme poverty with incomes below half of the poverty line (below $9,545 for a family of three.
I call that Home Sweet Home Ministers should take action to help face hunger in Bloomington, Normal, IL.
One way to help them with this problem is to get founds to donate a refrigerate truck so they can get someone to delivered the perishable food throughout the city to those that need it the most.
The people that are affected by this are the poor, sick, and homeless that need this the most.
