Stop Eminent Domain Proceedings

I strongly urge the citizens of Long Lake to sign this petition, and force the Town of Long Lake to hold a public referendum and let the citizens of Long Lake decide wether or not to proceed with eminent domain or to accept the easement offer, on the grounds that we disagree with the funds being spent on the eminent domain process and we disagree with the Town on taking property through eminent domain.

The Town of Long Lake should also have a spending cap of $50,000, any more to be spent should have to approved by the citizens by having a public referendum. It is time the citizens of Long Lake have a say on how the Town is run and how tax payer money is spent.
