Other car raceways have serious problems with noise, such as Manassas, VA, where local police have been called regarding serious noise issues in neighborhoods near the car raceway.
There has been no serious study of what the property, designated as approved for raceway building as far as other business that could economically benefit the Thornburg-Spotsylvania VA area.
There has been no independant studies concerning the raceway's impact on real noise, traffic congestion, possible spectator injury, environmental issue impact, on the approved dominion raceway building on the Thornburg-Spotsylvania VA area by either the developers nor local planning commission or board of supervisors of (Thornburg or Spotsylvania VA areas).
I know the spotsylvania board of supervisors immediately took a vote following public hearings. Why not take the time to seriously consider the public hearings input on how the residents of the area(s) effected concerns about the building of the raceway before coming to a vote? The spotsylvania board of supervisors public hearings ended late at night!
I am honestly requesting the citizens of spotsylvani, some of which are not immediately effected by dominion raceway to seriously consider ramifications the raceway would have of fellow-spotsylvania residents!
The approved raceway could cost tax-payer money for addressing congestion problems that have to be fixed; possible environmental damage costs, noise level problems causing need for better noise barriers; new road construction or expanded roads to fix more congess... to the Thornburg-Spotsylvania Va.area;
all these real factors need to be addressed in a thought-ful way. But none have by the raceway developer. The developer has blocked Freedom of Info.
Acts on these real impact issues. The developer pushes based on car raceway popularity, yes we are state that enjoys raceway. He claims it will bring in real jobs, and revenue to the areas of Thornburg-Spotsylvania.
I Ask for Your Support in this serious issue that will impact the areas mentioned abovde. Why not wait til independant studies are done before actual physical building starts. Thank you for Reading/Considering
