Stop Cyberbullying NOW

Cyber bullying is now reaching epidemic proportions. Many people including children, businesses, old age pensioners and young families are blighted by this evil and intimidating phenomena.

People of nearly every race, creed, or colour can be affected by these bullies, that peddle their hate over the Internet or through texts, E-mails and cellphones.

Many of the people who attack others are control freaks or sociopaths, who wish to exert power and control over individuals either to destroy their confidence, alienate friends, or wreck homes or business life.

These are hate campaigns on a massive scale. That can have long lasting and shattering effects. People have committed suicide because of these evil smear tactics.

I should know what it feels like as I am currently the victim of a serious smear and hate campaign.

I want the Government to understand just how destructive and pernicious this evil practice is. And the depth of feeling that it engenders.

I call on everyone even if you are not affected at present, to lend your voice, which will help the people that are suffering these torments on a day to day basis.

At present (if you can find out who are the instigators), Then the libel and defamation route through the courts is your only option to remedy the problem. It is very expensive and out of the reach of most people.

I want the Government to bring in a law that will empower an agency or watchdog to shut whole websites and Internet Service Providers, who allow this practice through their portals. And to admonish and fine companies that attack others.
