The owners in the Hawk's Landing neighborhood have been historically enhancing their homes by planting flowers, bushes & hanging pots for 20 years or more, at their own expense. It is the conseses of the undersigned that it has been in the realm of beautification.
The current Board President has determined to organize a committee to force the owners to remove all the plantings they have put in and to prohibit any plantings in the future. This is ecceptionally unfair to the owners, as they have enhanced the property at their own expense.
In many instances, when the original plants have died, the owners, at their own expense, have replaced them, thereby saving the association substantial amounts of money.
Objectively, the undersigned have no problem with removing plants that abutt the foundation due to termite prevention.
We are against the proposed unfair mandate by the Condo Association President to force the owners to remove the plantings that they have put in and enjoyed, in some instances, for over 20 years.
