Stoneacre Garage on Sawmills lane in Brandon is causing problems for the residents not only of the surrounding area but also of any motorist or member of the public who has to use Sawmills Lane.
The dealership despite being approach by local residents and their representative refuse to take action. They have erected CCTV cameras which overlook our homes and the local primary school playing field, they have not consulted with areas overlooked by these cameras, they have not sought planning persission either. Again despite council objections nothing has been done to remove these cameras.
We the undersigned call on the Durham county council to take direct action against Stoneacre's management that ensures they respect the homes and the rights of local residents in their everyday dealings.
