Since election day there has been rioting in the streets against the president elect and violence against women, immigrants and the LGBTQ people. Moreover there has been a atmosphere of fear.
We are calling on President Barack Obama and President Elect Donald Trump to step up as leaders and make a public statement that they do not condone such actions and request unity.
We the undersigned are asking President Barack Obama and President Elect Donald Trump to step up and show leadership. Since election day there has been fear, rioting in the streets and attacks on people of color, LGBTQ people and immigrants.
We are asking you to please make public statements that you do not endorse such actions and to make a plea for unification.
