Fair and just behavior according to the law is essential for all three Branches of Government to stay within the bounds of their authority. But the Executive Branch has crossed their line. Conflict has started between people and Presidents overriding their power by issuing Executive orders. Under the Constitution, only congress has the authority to pass laws. One of many Presidents, President Barack Obama, has commonly made executive orders to pass laws without them going through congress.

Obama Administration has avoided Congress and put in place over 1,000 new regulations, affecting our economy, job growth, and federal budget. "There is no constitutional provision nor statute that explicitly permits executive orders", translates that executive orders were never really legal in the first place. Article II, Section 1, Clause 1 of the Constitution grants to the President the "executive Power." Article II, Section 3, Clause 5 further directs the President to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed" or face impeachment.

These are just 3 of hundreds executive orders made by Obama:

Abortion: enforced restrictions in the Patient protection and Affordable care act.

Immigration: issued an executive order to protect undocumented immigrants.

Bathrooms: ordered to open public school restrooms and shower rooms according to "gender identity".

Executive orders have the full force of law when they take authority from a legislative power which grants its power directly to the Executive by the Constitution. Obama wouldn't have faced impeachment if he hadn't issued executive orders without faithfully executing them through congress. Members of Congress need to defend the principles in which our nation was founded, and uphold our Constitution. The Executive branch is stretching it's power by illegally issuing Executive Orders. Obama, and many other presidents are guilty of, which is why we stand against the issuing of Executive Orders, and require Members of Congress, not unelected bureaucrats, to make the laws as directed by the Constitution.

We, the undersigned, urge Congress to stop allowing the Presidency to issue executive orders and hold the President accountable for abusing executive power.
