On Green Lane, Tutbury the Speed Limit is 30 MPH and yet time after time drivers feel that they need to break this speed limit by doing speeds up to 40, 50 and ocassionally even 60 MPH.
Yesterday Friday 23rd July 2011 a Child was knocked from her Bicycle by a Van which resulted in her being Air Lifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital and has left her with a Fractured Skull and severe lacerations to her head!
How many more incidents like this have got to happen before something is put in place to slow the traffic down on Green Lane?
There are many Families on Green Lane, all of which have Children ranging from weeks to 10 Years Old!
We, the undersigned, call upon Staffordshire County Council to enforce a speed restriction on Green Lane, Tutbury by placing Speed Ramps on the Road in question.
